The Mersey Regional Burns, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Centre at Whiston hospital provides world-class care to patients requiring specialised treatment for a range of conditions.
Supporting patients across Merseyside, Cheshire and North Wales, as well as other parts of the UK, the Burns and Plastics Team’s remit consists of multiple fields of high-level expertise, including burns care, plastic and reconstructive surgery, skin cancer, breast reconstruction, hand surgery, lower limb reconstruction, prosthetics, and laser treatment.
The Burns and Plastics Team regularly fundraise for the unit, including a well-attended charity ball held once every two years.
Your support will help to fund continuing development in burns and plastics, improving available treatment options and aiding the recovery of patients suffering from burns or in need of plastic or reconstructive surgery.
